Love the books, but man these miniatures don't do anything for me.

Same. They don't even feel like they match the artwork in the books. Just very strange. And Brotherwise does not inspire confidence making the materials a stretch goal.

I’m not sure what art you’re looking at.This is the interior art from Words of Radiance. Adolin is pretty much a one to one match. He is in the bottom left of the picture. It’s fine to not like the minis, but they are a pretty accurate to how Brandon described them. He even said in his video that he had previously let artists have a little room to interpret things the way they wanted, but that these minis were designed to be official canonical versions of these characters.

And in the first Wax and Wayne novel, Alloy of Law, alert readers will spot him at the banquet. This one does appear to be an actual cameo, though, as he doesn't appear to do anything of note.

That you know of.

Usually, I would agree with you. However, in this case...

The couple that the wedding banquet is for are stand-ins for real world friends that Sanderson decided to put in the book. He's stated that Hoid was merely there to offer congratulations to the happy couple.

I found this. A little more detail about the sculpts and some size comparisons.

They note in the video that they are using 3d printed prototypes. It would be great if they could include one finished sample even if it's not from the current Kickstarter.

Less than 48 hours to go in the Kickstarter. It's fair to say they smashed their target. They've added quite a few stretch goals and shown off most of the designs.
