While I haven't built the original plastic Land Raider, I have built the current boxy one and the LR Proteus kit is just so much better. The only downside is painting a full 360 degrees of tread (twice!), but it's worth it for the visual alone. I just wish it came with the options to build the other LR variants in 40k.

The Land Raider is a nice armored cherry on the sundae. Very cool army.
