Yeah, I tried the enamel/ mineral spirits trick and it seems that I have to make a mix EVERY time I try it- hence switching to oil paints, as they don't separate or dry out as much. Fortunately I don't have pics of my old Heroquest atrocities I did in enamels.. let's just say it wasn't far off from the "one thick coat" pics going around. As I said, it was more on me for not thinning anything and overspraying primer.
