At the Frankfurt store, the two guys there currently are really lax with these kind of things. I use Vallejo and Citadel mostly, basically as long as my Vallejo paints are in my jacket pocket/paint bag when the paint from them is not being squeezed out, there's no problem. basically everyone who paints there uses Citadel anyway, so there's no real competition there. I hope the guys at your shop are nice enough, but as others have said, it's not really as enforceable without being a prick to your customers. Just keep them hidden, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

AWAKEN MY CHILD AND EMBRACE THE GLORY THAT IS YOUR BIRTHRIGHT. KNOW THAT I AM THE OVERMIND, THE ETERNAL WILL OF THE SWARM, AND THAT YOU HAVE BEEN CREATED TO SERVE ME.

SERVE THE HIVE, FEEL THE GROOVE, I CONTROL THE WAY YOU MOVE!

Since I am painting knights, with one or two emblems that are not GW originals, I will bring the model in to paint in sections.

Paint the GW stuff with GW paints in the shop, and do all the other stuff outside of view.

"Vulkan: I do not understand the question."
