Mostly, I paint while my wife watches TV.
If by myself, I listen to podcasts.

I found that I lose track of battle reports or other visual media.

I listen to podcasts, youtube videos in the background, and mostly a large variety of music. Could be a game soundtrack, music that fits the army I'm painting, or anything from Alice in Chains to Hall and Oates really

Yes-Close To The Edge is the best song of all time and I'll virus bomb/PPC anyone who says otherwise

For some reason I find myself listening to all of the Avengers soundtracks while I Assemble my models.

I switch it up between listening to music, stand up comedy or just have a youtube video on warhammer, gaming or anime on in the background. Classical or Jazz music is the best for when I really want to unwind and relax while painting.

Heavy metal (thank God for Metallica), 60's rock, some goth rock I've put in the playlist (living dead girl is my most played of any goth), obviously AC/DC, rock rap (like Eminem's Bezerk), and just rock in general, puts me in the mood for war.
