I feel silly about this answer, but bear with me; it was a Reupload of a Flashgitz Kaldor Drago animation, subtitled in Korean when I was about eighteen while browsing the internet on my summer after graduation. It unlocked a memory of me being younger, around seven, going to my local mall, and seeing a store that had giant armored guys with spikes and demon chicks around them. I wanted to know more, so I started googling "sci-fi evil space knight" or something to that effect. I came across a lore video on Konrad Kurze. From then on, I was hooked and devoured the lore for the rest of the summer. Come fall I went to a local GW store to buy my first army, I immediately hated the idea of primaris because I JUST learned about all the cool chapters, and thought the Bettererer marines were cringe, so I picked up a box of cadians and began my journey into kitbashing and the hobbying side of 40k. I played eighth for a while, but now I play fifth edition with my buddies.
