I thought it was weird at first but it does make some sense, the swords would be too fragile in resin. It looks like it's just the arms and weapons that are cast in metal.

I used to think this way, until I sat on the lap of some 75mm game players. One thing to understand is that the figures are specific, just like in Roll Playing games, your doing 2 or 3 figures and some henchmen. Each figure is a project, so you're not so much buying different scales, as starting new projects. The key point is to work on just a couple, so you don't start going overboard.
75mm figures are around $40-50.00 each, so when you are putting them together, you can go all out.
I work with 1/32 scale Pirates, but I'll cave in for some Spanish 75mm pirates that I can doll up for the game. There's quite a few out there from different companies, then you have good old Milliput. 75mm figures, like I said is a standard for Pirate figures.
Push comes to shove, you can also cast your own figures out of metal, or in the 3D printer. There are a lot of models out there to be sure.
54mm.... Yeah, we're gonna need a Bigger Boat.
Is there a picture list of these different sizes? 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm, 40mm, 54mm, 75mm.... We're seeing conflicting information, especially in leu of the models in Suggs hands. That model she's working seens huge. It seems like it's about two heads taller then a 75mm figure.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

First time I have ever backed a kickstarter and I chose the 3 model tier.
Looking to get Mi’lady Carmella, Geminiano Carvello and Rattus Rattus.
Unfortunately all the rest are just too piratey as I want to use these to expand my 54mm Inquisitor collection, not have a crew sailing the Caribbean.
That zombie pirate without the hat would have been perfect for what I am after.
