I’m not sure how to describe the colour of the armour, but non metallic true metal works for me!! If thats the standard you are doing the rest then I can’t wait to see them all finished!,

Thank you for the compliments. Honnestly, the armor is just tricks. I am most proud of the cape. This is the first time i try to glaze something quite big and i'm really happy with the result. I am trying to replicate it with the sanguinary guard's banner, but it's really tough. All my red paints cover as well as tapwater. The result is patchy despite spending quite some time on it. And for the rest of the army, well, they are almost all done already. Since i only decide to try harder recently, they are not as good looking. I will update mephiston but i have too much to paint already.

Your Tau force was already jaw dropping with that crisp white but now, I'm speechless. Can't wait to see more of them .
I really love the aspects of those colours. They feel real. Congratulations this is simply amazing work.

Thank you mate. I am doing my best. I hope it was not just luck haha

Hey everybody, at last, my sanguinary guards are done.
I've learned a lot about painting faces and eyes thanks to these ones. I wanted them to be special, so i chose bare heads. Everybody else have a helmet, mainly for convenience. But i wanted these to represent the elite.
I'm also getting better at glazing. The faces were looking cartoonish with too much contrast and the swords had coffee stains. But after a few glazes, i managed to clean up the mess. They still don't look perfect, but good enough and move on it my goal. I'm not vince ventura

Anyway, here are the pictures, i hope you like it :

I can finally go back to my t'au. The rythm of finished models should be faster. At least that's what i tell myself to give me hope

Fantastic Reds and Whites on the Captain, they really pop next to the gold!

Definitely worth the wait on the sanguinary guard, they look great as well. Quite pale faces, it gives them a slight vampiric look, I like it!
