With one exception (lower right), I must disagree with the cartooniness, especially after having recently checked out the NY Met Museum's samurai armor collection. There are no silly rabbits or oxen on these, which real Samurai stuff actually featured.

The only reason i dont have jumped kromleach yet, is for their prices... The general sculpts are always perfect, and the orc wars line is just awesome...

I like the cyber samurai head, but due to the very diferent shoulder pad style on samurais i must ask: when the cyber samurai shoulder pads will come out? That give me ideias too

YES!! Something like that made to fit PA and Term armor would be awesome. A whole army of armored Cobra Commanders!!!!

I like the heads on top right and the bottom left. They seem very 'striking scorpion'-esque to me.

Just make sure the ork generals are going to be at least as big if not bigger than the GW warboss from Assault on Black Reach.

Yes we plan matching shoulder pads and weapons . In fact weapons are almost ready .

Keep up the excellent work

piecemeal (which is a harsh sounding term) releases like this allow Kromlech to guage the popularity of a set with minimal risk. If they released a whole set all at once the costs would be greater and the risk of it being unpopular or just not selling is therefore more expensive. This way they release the heads and sort of say hey customers heres a taste tester of a new range if your interested we will build the rest?

Must....avoid.......temptation....to buy.


A full Samurai looking SM army woudl be so Cool. Do you think couting them as White Scars woud be the best way to go? did Samurai fight from horseback........pass.

yes samuri fought from horseback but they also fought from a standing position, basicaly they fought whereever and however they needed too

NIce, other than making a samurai themed army those heads could be used with a little modification as Blood Angel death masks (and scarier looking ones than the sissy boy masks you get in the sanguinary guard set) or on Raptors for their demonic visage (yes the book which will not be named did away with that, but so what?)

We have new orc legs for all greenskins fans. This time not so dynamic as our previous running legs but full of character in my opinion .
Just imagine HMG bearer made using them .

Simple but good, and probably necessary for orky IG heavy weapon teams.

NICE. Any chance you have some shots with Orky bodies attached?

Sweet I am glad some one is listening to request now the arms weapons and some legs designed to use for tank riders (siting leaning ect) and that would be great

Those would be good for some cover-friendly lootas. (Fair? No, but that's the way the Cheezit crumbles.)

I think it's the mix of paintjob an poor picture. I have to change both of them .

Yes I agree about that head set I was not sold on them either from the picture but after receiving the other sets I bought a set and had to say was astounded at the detail of them that picture does not do it justice change the pic and get better sales as they deserve it

I bought the heads from an ebay seller here in the US, the cigars were broken on some of the forage cap heads and I raised this with the seller who immediately offered me either replacements or a sample of these heads, so I tried these helmeted heads as they were free and was pleasantly surprised. Good for the seller as I'll buy more of them when I make my 30strong unit of greatcoat orks...
