Hmm, shall have to pick up that LR kit, looks very snazzy! The turrets are also very cool looking and should be perfect for my custom Rhino variant

I shall have to place an order as soon as these sets and the new jetbike comes out. Hurry though because I am restraining myself from placing a FW order also!

No.
In fact, if you take the time to do a comparison, you will see that they sculpted their own Power Fist and added two very cool looking blades to it.

Opinions. They can go either way.

Awesome. Just ordered 6 of the razorback turrets and 2 of the LR conversions. Good stuff man.

Edit: Crap, didn't see the stormraven conversion kits. Would have picked up 3 of those, too. Oh well, some other time.

Edit: Since i'm here and you're here, why with every order do I keep getting coupon cards with no code on them? I've ordered a few times from you and just keep getting coupon cards with no info on them.

I think these would make good land speeder analogs for pre-heresy armies. (the jetbikes, that is)

I'm having trouble working out what it exactly is and why they'd post a picture of it before it's painted, it just looks like an awkward blob of metal in the photo.

I see it this way... jetbikes will be on flight stems, and using them as bikes seems counter to what cannot be denied as a skimmer. There are no rules I know of for space marine jetbikes. But put one of these bad boys, or even two, on a 60mm base? throw on the proper guns? Hell yeah, awesome for a pre-heresy army to represent jetbikes and still use proper codex rules (which im not against house rules for jetbikes, but a lot of folks like to stick to whats in the codex, yes?)

Also, if my knowledge of canon isnt off, there were no land speeders during the heresy, but there were jetbikes.

Seems like a solid way to do that to me!

Sooo

That razorback kit is pretty neat. I really like the assault cannons, and the plasma guns are both unique and easily recognizable.

I have the bronze masters on the way to be molded up for production so in a couple of weeks would be my best guess!

Thanks Janthkin for putting this thread back on topic.

Nice work as usual! I actualy really like the lightning claws, it's always good to have options to use for our converting whether you are a huge fan or not, I shall be looking to obtain some as well as the turrets that fit the razorback! very clean sculpts and they look good on the vehicles too.

Nice job guys!

It looks much better in the green, even if it is still a little rough. I think part of the problem I previously had with it was that the photo editing left the edges very ragged (it looks that way on the pictures of all the other product too).

For actual criticism of the helmet, some of the arrows look crooked, and I think the last two on each side are too much. Also, I believe it would look better with only one vent on top, instead of the two it currently has.

Please keep in mind it's much better than I can personally do, I'm just offering my feedback on it.

Have just seen the Jet bike in the flesh, KROMLECH is better. Why? Because the Bolters on the CHS one are smaller than a RT era Bolter, seriously small. They look like a cheap last minute addon.

The Razorback's turrets are an interesting option, but I'm pretty sure most people could make their own with a normal razorback and some small magnets.

There are a few people on Dakka that produce Quality stuff in resin cheaply. Check out MACHINATOR, he's very good. I've bought his stuff and it's excellent.

You are right, it looks a little rough. I guess that´s the best I could do back when I did it and yeah, in retrospect I agree there should be one vent. I´ll keep that in mind and make better stuff next time.

How about we don't derail this further and we all just accept that people have different opinions, shrug our shoulders, and move on.

Thanks.

The green for that helm doesn't appear to be done justice by that initial casting t'would appear. I like the idea of it, has a nice "Nemesis the Warlock" kind of vibe to it.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all

There were some difficulties in the initial casting of it but hopefully Nick has or will sort it out.
Would be a bummer if it shouldnt make it as it took quite some time to sculpt.

@Pyriel - I have no idea what you are on about. I put my opinion of their product up because I saw it in the flesh and my immediate thought was "Why are the Bolters so small?" that is exactly what this forum is for? Discussion.

I really like their Storm Raven Kit and their Iron Hands Shields. Reds8n is right, lets shrug and move on.

Post your opinion all you like, but please start your own thread about other companies products and dont spam in mine. You did not just say your opinon about the bolter you went out of the way to spam anothers products.

i think the lr kit looks decent, though the added bolts are huge when compared to the existing lr ones, makes it a little out of place.

<OT digression snipped --Janthkin>

Now, I do like your Rback turrets, but in the pictures, the plasma guns especially look a little wobbly. Can you possibly provide some stills on how the magnets actually attach? I am interested in your turrets, as so far, I find them the easiest and most cost efficient manner in which to have a moddable razorback turret.

Ordered a Land Raider Kit, will be picking up more later when in need. Loving the new releases, if I need more power Claws I'll certainly be picking these up, too bad I just got the last few sets needed within the last few weeks.

Only weirdness was Paypal telling me my US dollars to US dollars payment was international.

insaniak wrote:

Not any more, no. There are quite a few kits that include them.

There are more out there now, but most have annoying iconography, like the Blood Angels ones that are a pain to remove.
