HQ-Nurgle Prince with warptime and wings=175 (Should I just go lash prince...?)

Elite- Dread with TL autocannon and Missle launcher=110 ( closest thing is LR or out of LOS of anything it can hurt)
5 chosen- 3 plasma 2 melta= 155 (Outlfanking/infiltrating depending on opponent)
4 terminators- 1 heavy flamer, 2 chainfists, 2 combimeltas=165
IN a LR with possession=240

Troops-8 Thousand Sons 1 Sorc with bolt of change in Rhino with EA+ Havok=334
8 Thousand Sons 1 Sorc with doombolt=254

Heavy- 1 Possessed Vindicator=145
2 Obliterators=150
AC/LC pred=130

=1858

Basically, I am debating dropping an elite choice(dread or chosen for another troop, which would be lesser daemons) Any advice or anything would be appreciated. Other models available are 18 lesser daemons/sorcerer/ term sorceror/ term lord/ 4 Lascannon marines/ 2 plasma marines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i thought it had to be below 1850 to be an 1850 point list

It is, my list just is not finalized yet. So it is still above 1858. Which is one of the reasons I put it up here for review.

With only two troop choices at 1850 you are never going to be able to claim enough objectives to win. And being that you've chosen both of them to be 1K Sons, you are looking at serious mobility issues. If I see my opponent throw down only two transports, one a Rhino and the other a LR with DP, I'm popping the Rhino because I'm pretty certain it will open up before the LR. Now you're stuck with two slow moving footsloggas. For only 35 pts I buy Rhinos for every unit I can. Worst comes to worst, it gets pummeled and becomes cover for the foot troops.

I usually try for at least one troop choice per 500 pts (rounding up). Chaos has GREAT troops and a HUGE variety. Being that the avg point cost of a troop selection is 250 or so (unless you are trying to be uber cheap) this means half my army is troops, but with Chaos, we have enough selection to be happy with it!

Personal choice really, Both set ups are great.

Drop it. Dreads are awful for Chaos.

No real problems here but i tend to run my chosen like this..

Note - Outflanking squads NEED a rhino, incase they turn up the wrong side of the table.

I personally hate terminators in a Land raider, sure they can get a huge charge bonus but our terminators are more of a suicide unit. Use Land raiders for berzerkers and deep strike your terminators instead.

Already been said, you've picked a terrible choice for troops. If your taking Thousand sons, never more then 1 unit, Instead the drop unit without a rhino and instead throw in plague marines/berzerkers/Standard marines

No. No. No. You've sunk more points in Heavy support then Troops. Drop the predator. Spend points on more troops.

If you haven't noticed theres a constantly theme been bought up, Troops, Troops and Troops. You need to balance your army.
If you do as i advise you'll have 734pts to spent elsewhere. I advise plague marines as a must for your army.

As mentioned on hersey your HQ is fine but the dread you should take in multiples if you decide tot ake it.

The land raider is the only big threat in your army and will attract all the melta and the terminators inside need all the same weapon for the job.

The chosen are mish-mash and should be dropped.

Change your troops to plague marines or normal CSM.

Take tanks in pairs

Thanks for all the advice and comments. Much appreiacted. Sadly I do not have the models for plague or khorne at my disposal. But I can get access to lesser daemons. Also I do not have two vindicators...so I have to end up with 1 pred/1 vindicator. this is my revised list that is at 1867.

Any other ideas of what I can do? should i bring in a second lash with a sorceror in term armor to put with terminators? but then I have to lose my chosen or a squad of daemons.. Thanks again

Why don't you proxy if you don't have or cannot afford the models? If you cannot afford them then that's fine but suggestions have been offered and the modified list still is very much the same as the original.
