Hello everyone,
I've had beastmen since early 6th edition, but haven't done much converting for them. With the new book, I have been creating monstors left and right. Below is some of my recent work....I will post more later.

First up, my Jabberslythe (my Babyslythe I call him). I was looking for a model to convert for my Jabber, and saw a very old Vampire counts model on a winged nightmare. I got a reasonable price on the model....but when I opened it up, it was much smaller than anticipated. Anyways, I built him up, added spikes from the Minotaur box, greenstuff a collar where the seat was, and added a huge log for him to be perched on. I want to make a scared Empire soldier below trying to hide from him.

Next up is my Ghorgon. I added 2 extra arms to my giant and greenstuffed shoulders for them. I also added an extra minotaur head and green stuffed a neck and main. The head looks small, but it is the same size as the smallest giant head. I also added fur around the hooves, in the knee patches, and on the inner thigh.....and don't forget the big happy trail.

Here are my Razorgors....I used 3 Krootox models that I had used for my Tzeentch Beast Chariots (how I miss spamming power dice). I added my final 3 extra Minotaur heads and spines/hair. I then greened back furr and furr along the front feet.

I have a finished doombull(with hooves) that I will post once I finish sculpting the hooves for my Gorebull BSB and my 4 minotaurs. I also have 2 chariots that I am using the new boars from the Orc Boy Riders. Hopefully I can get started on my centigors I will be converting.

Critics and comments welcome,
Soup

Thanks ghosty. The razorgors turned out better than I thought they would. They remind me of the evil dogs on Ghostbusters.

I was wondering the same thing ghosty....I thought he would be a large monster, but not as big as a ghorgon or cygor. I wanted him a little bigger than a griffon (he's not) but the rock gives him the heighth. I like to imagine that the jabberslyth is a small nibble flyer that sneaks behind the enemy and causes its havoc (i.e. flys around the flank and hides behind cover awaiting to terrorize the enemy).

I just hope they don't come out with some massive new model that will dwarf him. Especially since their have been no pics or art released about him.

Thank you Thortek.

Right, i know someone used the frikking massive chaos spawn figure from forgeworld, gave it huge wings, and Jabberslythed it. Looked pretty good if i recall correctly.

It was on GW web page a while back.

Those Razorgores are outstanding. Funny how the krootox seems to come in handy so often.

I saw that Jabber too...they repositioned the spawn body to make it more upright. It looked pretty sweet, but I'm not going to drop that kind of cash.

I think the Krootox have now found a vialable army to be used in....lmao.
