Aim of this list is for a few hard hitting combat squads with a bit of heavy weapons support backup. Plan is to attach Shrike to the assault squad and infiltrate with scouts, drop in the vanguard squad first turn and go for combat in first turn, with long range support to take out major threats.

Thoughts? And if there's any major flaws give me a virtual slap to the back of the head.

I'm confused by the random Master of the Forge, Your not running any dreads so his special rules dont apply... You'd be better of with a chaplin in terminator armor attached to the terminator squad.

As far as the terminators go, terminators that dont start the game in a landraider are not very effective. I think youd be better off with a group of assult terminators with a chaplin in a land raider.

Whirlwinds are a horrible horrible unit.

Make sure that you atleast take your free special weapons in your tactical squad, a flamer and a missle launcher are a great choice and free points wise.

Not a fan of devastators, but YMMV. For less points then your devastators you can take three predators with an AC and HB sponsons.

A scout squad with cammo cloaks is golden for holding an objective.

the master of the forge is there to be tucked away in a corner to make most use of the conversion beamer, preferably somewhere high. This list may not use his special rules for dreads but the ability to increase a cover save by one where the devastators are could certainly have its uses.

I do happen to have a land raider crusader thats not in this list, but am not sure what to cut out in order to fit it...

I'd cut the devastators personally, take the Land Raider as a dedicated transport and drop the whirlwind, then if you could free up a few more points you could add in a couple of predators.
