Hey guys and gals of the lore section.
I recently went book shopping...again. Seems my research papers are never finished without more reseach materials, even though I go for a few books on rocks and minerials and come out with some kind of rulebook for Warhammer. So I got a quick lore question, "What is the Iron Company" I saw the book on the shelves and thought hey that would make a cool army to mess around with on the table top so I figured I would make a quick inqery seeing this is my main source for lores and lexicanum didnt have much on the site. So can someone enlighten me to see if this army is worth fleshing out to play with or just another pipe dream.

its a novel no a army book; about an empire engineer who is hired by an elector count to lay siege to a separatist lord who took over a castle, and his arch rival is working for the separatist; thats about the just of it, it was a pretty good read,it made me want to start an cannon heavy empire army.

I knwo its a novel, Ill just use the empire codex for it however how did that army preform?

Might get adventurous and make a 40k version and a WHFB version for laughs.
