Okay I am going for a horde and flank army.
Think of the historically persian army that would use large number of men followed by flanking units.
So this is My idea
HQ Weird Boy 100
Warboss with power claw and upgrades 100
Troops
60 slugga boyzs
60 shoota boyz
Elites
5 Nobz with power claw
1 pain boy
7 Ork Commandoes
Fast Attack
5 deffcopters
Heavy Support
6 Killer Kans
1 deff dread
what do you think?

What works in real life doesn't work in warhammer. what exact upgrades does your warboss have? Also every boyz mob MUST have a nob with a power Klaw and Bosspole.

Professionals are predictable, it's the amateurs that are dangerous.
Anything you do can get you shot. Including doing nothing. |

because the scale at which 40k takes place. LARGE point games yes that would work. but not at the point level this is.

For a 2,000 point game, this list doesn't take advantage of a lot of little tactical things you could do.
First of all, your notation is kind of vague.
Weirdboyz need to be upgraded to Warpheads to have any kind of reliability.
You're taking 7 vehicles. I would suggest dropping the Warboss for a KFF Mek to protect that armor.
The Nobz should be properly diversified and upgraded, to increase their survivability tenfold.
Kommandos should have Burnas and you should strongly consider taking Snikrot.
Deffkoptas, from my experience, seem to work better in small units of one or two, and they need Buzzsaws (they seem to be little more than anti-armor units). Split them up.
If you're fielding 6 Killa Kans, why not go all out and just field 9 Killa Kans? 9 Killa Kans with a KFF Support will be far better than 1 Deff Dread.
You may need to drop a unit of Boyz, but it's worth it.

Sorry about the vagueness I had a general idea ,and am trying to work out the kinks.
I think your idea might take what I had in mind in the right direction
Thanks

No problem. And remember, Boyz exist (for the most part) in two states; 12 Slugga Boyz in Trukks, or 30 Shoota Boyz on foot. And always take a Power Klaw Nob.

Agree, but I don't find Bosspoles that necessary when you're fielding squads of 30 boyz.

Yeah, I thought that too. You start making leadership saves at 1/3 strength; if you fail a leadership after that, the unit's GONE. Five points could save you 95. Just saying.
