So I got into WH40K back in feb. Absolutely love the game and I am doing my first Conversion/kit bash. I am dire need of help!

A while back I read a thread about doing Ichor/goo/gore

Using clear Elmers glue for children and then using ink to dye it. The problem is I can not find a suitable place to buy the ink from so I tested with Food coloring. Anyways I seem to be jacking something up as it takes a super long time to dry and doesnt take the color as well as I hoped for. Any help would BE GREATLY appreciated!

Have you tried hobby or craft stores for inks or maybe the internet for shops such as Dick Blick?

Are you mixing the colouring in with the glue, whilst its wet?

I would be very patient with this technique make sure the Elmers is completely dry before attempting anything else. Depending on the environmental conditions it could dry quickly or slowly.

Yeah I am mixing the colouring in while its wet. Ive tried several craft/caligraphy stores and they just dont have the right kind of ink. I will check out the one you mentioned from the net thanks for your help!

Vallejo Still Water, I use it for pretty much anything that needs to be wet, it can be painted or colored and you can color it with food coloring, die or paint. It just takes a long time to dry, 24 hours minimum.

just another thought when working with the stuff, dont get superglue in it when the water effects is wet, it will make it cloudy.

If you can order stuff online, the Warstore sells inks and from what I've heard they are pretty good.
