personaly, if your looking at making lots of them i have seen some nice conversions of tau suits but the method i prepose is to build/sculpt your own from scratch, they're orks they should be massive, blocky and they should look like they're either going to fall over or fall appart.
then get some silicone and make a mould of your componants ie torso, legs, arms get some fibre glass resin from the local auto shop and cast your own. i would advise using spare heads from your bits box plus any ohter spare orky looking bits you have to finish them off.

I used Tau stealth suits, and twisted the upper torso 90 degrees. Technically these are mega grots, but you get the idea
Here's a piccie:

Black Orcs (WHFB) make good Mega Armored Orks if you use the proper bases and bitz to make PKs and guns and extra 40k looking armor.

Nasty Nob on Warbike with Klaw

I made mine from the plastic Nobs box set. They come with lots of extra shoulder pads that can be made into massive armor pieces with a little work. I also had tons of extra bits from the stompa, battlewagon and other kits in my bitz box. They look like walking junkyards. Also, I used the bodies off of the mechanized 'uge choppas and spare vehicle exhausts as the power plants and some spare hydraulic lines from the stompa kits to make them seem suitably ramshackle. Basically, a well-stocked bitz box from old kits is the best way to go, and the cheapest. Don't be afraid to make every one of them look different, Ork Meks are like that!

I just added a bunch of metal looking bits to mine. Not only that, but I personally LOVE the way the big choppas look, but they are mostly useless in game, so I just use them as counts as power klaws.

I wouldn't. I grabbed some for my cyborgs and although the barrel is the perfect size for Nobz I found the rest a little small, more boyz size. (On a side note I found the legs a little tall) The Nob on the right of the pic has now been disassembled because the torso was just to small.
Anyway after they had to resend my order I have a few of the bodies that I am not using. If you want I will take some photos over the weekend showing a clearer size comparison

Hence the "counts as" part. I dont care if they look like chickens, Im not paying what GW is asking for mega nobs, and the parts were just sitting there so I figured why not. Besides as with any counts as, letting your opponent know what they are, clears any problems up pretty quickly

those parts do look like awesome cybork parts (Finaly found some i like the look of) and as part of a conversion i see no problem with using them for mega armour, what would be tougher an ork surounded by metal or an ork made of metal??!!
