I just spent 10 minutes trying to send an email called 'How do you feel'. Hotmail refused to send saying it was spam. I finally figured out it was the title. Because 'how do you feel' is obviously a viagra ad.

Their 'helpful' advice? Get a paid account.

Get a googlemail account? Its better than hotmail in every respect. No ads, no spam, easier to access, insane amount of storage space and it wont stop you sending emails.

I kept hotmail so I wouldn't have to move my addressbook or get friends to update theirs. Spam and storage have never really been issues on this account.
But this is insane.

Hotmail was one of my first email accounts and after using my primary account for years is now relegated to catching spam and being used as a throw away mailbox for when I sign up for mail or internet orders.

Googlemail is my current favourite account. The time spent importing contacts over is worth it. The layout looks a lot less uncluttered and is easier to use (my opinion anyway).

I'm now with Gmail.

I do have another hotmail acct (well, live.com.au) but it's for website rego and spam catching. It also links with my msn so that I can stay in touch with certain people.

I was not aware that anybody used hotmail anymore. You do know that the 90's are over, right?

my boss uses AoL. I feel fine about my hotmail.
