Well scibor miniatures essentially makes conversion parts FOR 300 spartans. They look pretty sweet too, might need to go pick some of them up...

Ummm and what army are we referring to using in 40k?

If you're doing Space Marines FORGET the half naked look of the 300 film. Spartans were actually one of the most heavily armoured ancient armies.

Go with Blood Angels Sanguine Guard and give them large round storm shields. Also if you can find enough of them....the Chaos Sorceror helmet from the Terminator Chaos Lord plastic kit (minus the horns) is PERFECT as a spartan style helmet. Add a plume with green stuff and you're there.

Also look at the iconography on the cover of Brothers of the Snake (book). They're a very greek style SM army.

Unless of course you mean the Halo Spartans. You may need to be more specific.

Or the Spartan car, or the Spartan AFV, or the Spartan missile, or the many, many Spartan sports teams...

I personally assume you want an army full of Sly Stallones, right? An army of John Spartans? Wow, all I need is 250 Marbo models and I'm there! BEST ARMY EVER!!

I'm making a 300 spartan type marine from the sanguinary guard. I'll post one up in a little while and give you some pointers

I am looking for eldar "300" styled spartans.They dont have to look naked, just the cloak, spear, shield, and best if I can find what I need in the GW mini range

Best Spartan esque helmets by GW atm are probably the Warriors of chaos ones. Just snip off the horns and you're done!

Combine them with sanguinary guard parts as stated above and you essentially have what you want.
