Today I decided to check out the new Space Marine trailer from E3. Putting aside an prejudices I have with 40k FPSs (*Cough* Fire warrior *Cough*) I gave the trailer a quick analysis.

Here here to seeing more epic battles. I would hope that you fight alongside some Guardsmen at some point too....I'd almost feel fighting with a Baneblade at my back would be more epic than with a Land Raider.
Course I'm an IG player, so I may have biases.
But...as for why they're shooting at Valkyries....I'd almost think that's evidence for some kind of mission where you have to protect inbound IG reinforcements. Maybe after you complete that mission you get a big battle where you kill the Warboss....THEN you find out it was really the Eldar (smug bastards), and you get to kill them too. And I wouldn't put it past Relic and THQ to do something nice and epic like that.

Calm down my warp crazed brother, GW has already stated that the Ultra smurfs are only for the trailer and that they haven't decided on the SM Chapter in the story. Here's to SW and Black Templars!

I'm both chaotic and orderly. I value my own principles, and am willing to go to extreme lengths to enforce them, often trampling on the very same principles in the process. At best, I'm heroic and principled; at worst, I'm hypocritical and disorderly. I am Red And White.

Alas I toss wishes in the wind, but how fun it would be to play the unarmored underdog (IG for the win) or go the Alien Vs Predator route and let me for once be the angry spiky marine, the icky Tyrannid,or the unforgiving necron (would these be a tank or sniper type of game?)
Heed words of wisdom and be enlightened:

How can JRPG's stay alive with nowhere to expand and develop?
They stay alive because Japanese people love seeing a rainbow's assortment of hair colours, people with animal ears, wings, or tails, clothes that even a blind guy wouldn't wear, and cookie-cutter angsty teenage-hero characters that all have some life-shattering unique, heartfelt sad soppy story.
Likewise, many people in the West are slowed to some degree, and they think that the storylines and characters are actually of a decent quality. Generally, these people are in the 12-16 bracket and/or are the same crowd that think the Twilight movies are the best films ever produced/books ever written.
