Am I right with my addition on the Stormboyz and Kommandos. When I add the Bosses, do i say 20 boyz, even though therewould only be 19 normal boyz and the boss as well, making 20... People in the one unit, and remove the equivilant amount of points, or do i say 20 boyz, do theyre points and add on the bosses points to the top of that and put 20 normal boyz on the table, and then the boss in there as well?

I'll do my best to start with the 1500 point army.

HQ - Warboss, Mega Armor, Cybork - 110

This is a bad option simply because it has nothing to group with that won't be hindered by Slow and Purposeful. I'd suggest losing the Mega Armour, or finding some transport for it (Meganobz in a Battlewagon for instance). Also, this is an infantry army, a KFF Mek is always a good decision.

Elite - Tankbustas - 155

While Tankbustas are considered a bad unit in general, I'm beginning to think that they're actually viable, but only in low point (~750) games, but become obsolete in higher games (and larger tables) in favor of almost anything else. Tankbustas have to move and shoot at any visible vehicles, whether or not they can actually reach them, meaning they can't ever run, and can be a very frustrating unit to play with in a field where vehicles are prominent (I.E., anything higher than 750).

Elite - Lootas x10, Rokkit Mek
Elite - Lootas x10, Rokkit Mek

I'm generally open minded, but I don't see the benefit in upgrading Lootas to Meks if they're not in base contact with any armor, and more importantly, giving them a worse gun. I'd agree with fielding Meks in a Loota squad if they were positioned RIGHT NEXT to (or inside) a Battlewagon Gunboat, ready to repair that bad boy in case of any damage, but in an all-infantry army, they're just not a Loota, and that's unwise. Additionally, I'd suggest rounding those units out to full 15 man units.

Troops - 20 Shoota Boyz, Nob w/PK, BP - 160

Orks exist in two states: 12 Sluggas in a Trukk, 30 Shootas on foot. That's the formula, it's best not to tamper with it. There is the third option, 20 boyz in a Battlewagon, but I detest that formula, personally. I would drop the number of units to fill out the units into 30 man mobz. And again, with so many models, consider a KFF Mek.

Fast - Stormboyz, Nob w/PK, BP - 124

Nothing wrong here, Stormboyz when used right are pretty good. However, your army (with the exception of Lootas and Tankbustas) is lacking some real punch when it comes to anti-armor, and this is where I detail the virtues of the "Buzzsaw Deffkopta" which can assault stationary armor 54" away on turn 1 with Power Klaws. That's what I call a "fast attack."

Your ammo runt does no good for the warboss because he already has a TL shoota. BRB pg 2 (I think), you can't reroll a reroll. Also, it gives you +3 points.

I, personally, don't like burnas on foot. I think they are best firing out of a battlewagon. Likewise, I personally prefer 2 mobs of 5 lootas. Most of the time, the small squad will at least immobilise the transport your firing at and that's good enough. I would drop the burnas and 5 lootas from each squad. In their place, you could add a unit of kommandos (with 2 burnas) with Snikrot. If my math is correct, that leaves you with +90 points. Since you'll be foot sloggin across the board, having him come out behind their lines to tie up a unit or two for a turn can buy the rest of your boys valuable time.

Nothin' bad here. However, while your walking across the field, you're getting blown to bits because you have no cover. You could take the 93 points from above (if I added/subtracted correctly) and field a 24 strong gretchin squad to walk in front of your boys or you could get a Big Mek with KFF. Alternatively, you could drop a squad and with the 300+ points you could field some killa kans to screen your boys with.

I like big meks. I especially like big meks with kff's. However, I think that's all they should have (except for maybe a bp). The attack squig won't perform very well unless he's giving you another pk attack like on your warboss. The boys mob is fine, perhaps go ahead and take it up to 30. Deff dreads I don't like. I've used them and I think they underperform. For virtually the same price you can get 2 killa kans for each deff dread or you could start filling in with deffkoptas or rokkit buggies to pop higher AV targets.

All in all, you've got a good beginning here. Good luck with your Waaagh!
