Yakima, Washington

Looking for any gamers in central Washington area (Yakima, Ellensburg, Tri-cities) that play warhammer 40k. I live in Yakima, WA - none of the gaming stores around here sell or host any warhammer 40k games, so I'm looking to start something up. I've got a few friends/relatives that are interested in playing, so if there are any poor unfortunate souls in central Washington area who have no one or no where to play, let me know. As far as I know there are no clubs in the area, so I'd like to start one if there is enough interest, I'll be constructing game boards within the next couple of months and finding places to play won't be difficult. Let's make something happen.

recently posted on the new bulletin board at the Ron's on Nob Hill.... glad to see there are more than just the 2 o us in Yakima ( we are a couple, new to 40K )
Hope we can hook up and get some games going in Yakima, as Tri-Cities is a ways to go...
There is a group in Tri-Cities that plays mini game like WHFB and 40K and Warmachine..... they play at Adventures nderground on G. Wash. Way... on Sundays...
they have a group on yahoogroups, triciteswarhammer...
We are just starting out and they have been helpful. Maybee you could help up learn, we got 2 sets of AOBR so we could paint together this last winter. I have SM and she has the ORKS...
I am hoping to get into Warmachine too. It seems like fun and can be played with less minis, and in less space... and Privateer Press prices are reasonable.
PM me or look us up through theboard at Ron's, maybee we could start gaming there. I have 2 pieces of a hill I made and will be working on more terrain after I paint the rest of my minis... and I hope to get a youtube video up soon so I can see what people think of my painting, or ifI should hire that out... LOL

Hit Us Up, I/We'd join your club...

Tieton, wa

I'm a yakima resident, been playing 40k about two years now. We had our own following at the dragons den before Erick (the owner) went out of business. Then most of our members moved out of town..

Anyhow.. I have access to a wearhouse building in naches, was the youth group building for my dad's church but it hasn't been used in close to 4 years. I have a crapton of my own terrain I've allready constructed, and a 4' x 6' sand table I constructed for gaming sitting unused.

I still play, whenever I can. You, and anyone else you know would be free to store their terrian in the building, but I would have to be there when you guys use it.. (The building suffered some vandalism a year ago..) At any rate I would be glad to facilitate games on wednesdays and thursdays (my days off) and I'm usually available on sundays after four. Email me at zerofire83@msn.com for my cell number if you're interested, and we'll get something going.

*UPDATE*
The building has been bug bombed (needed it), Vaccumed, The lighting system has been repaired,
I would like to set up a hobby table eventually, and I have spoken to building management.
There are no conflicts with us using the building on wednesdays and thursdays, and we are free to store our terrain and equipment there.

So I am in the process of getting a small business going and found a place to lease from. I am going to start out by selling the core products from Games Workshop and also Privateer Press. I will be following a traditional Games Workshop business model but also adding a MLG style gaming section. I don't want to get into too many details right now but this will be happening soon.

What I can say is that starting out I will have two tables that are 4' & 6' that are terrain-ed. Two to three smaller tables meant for card games or Clix games. Also, there will be forge stations where people can paint their models. There will be fountain drinks and packaged food.

If this sounds good to you I hope to see you when I open my doors.
