I did search for the blood lance question first, couldn't find anything.

1. Thickness of blood lance? Is it a pinpoint line? Thick as a measuring stick?

2. If I shoot and destroy a vehicle, can I charge something else if it is in range? I know you can destroy a transport and charge the units that were inside. I could have multi-charged both, since they were very close together, but my shooting target was dead.

Basically yesterday I had my librarian and his squad take out a banewolf from range, and I was standing right next to a punisher leman russ. I was planning on charging the banewolf, but I destroyed it, so I was stuck just standing there with no assault target, etc. Could I have assaulted the punisher since my shooting target was dead?

1) It has no thickness. Covered in my BA FAQ
2) No. The only thing you can charge in this instance are passengers who have left the now killed vehicle.

Oh, Oh I know this one!

In Euclidean geometry, a line is defined as a straight curve. It has only one dimension, Length, and is thus impossible to physically represent in out 4 dimensional world.

I thought a dedicated transport counted a seperate unit. So if you destroy the transport you can't assault the unit that bails out with the same unit that destroyed the transport.

yea, there's no reason for rudeness. Its just I remember when this codex first come out, some people were saying things like "OH LOL I WILL MAEK MA LINE 5" WIDE LULZ" or some similar garbage.

I wasn't sure if the OP was trying to justify a similar claim, and those claims ticked me off, because it was obviously attempting to exploit the rules.

So posting a more civil answer would have been a much better idea... It's better for both your arteries and your chances of a long and fruitful posting career if you assume the question is being asked in good faith unless it's obviously otherwise.

Or: If something can be taken two ways, and one of them makes you cranky... assume the other way is the intended one.

I was using Blood Lance as a pinpoint line, which is how I assumed it was supposed to be, since there is no thickness specified in the codex. I was just asking, as my opponent asked me how "thick" the line was.
