So I am trying to make a fun list for Lizardmen. And I thought of a astrological type theme army. That is why I have chosen to take Tettoeko as well as a Slann to be able to cast Comets as well as to try and beef up an all skink army. An all skink army doesn't seem to powerful at all but I think it can make it work. Just wanting some insight on the list.

Thanks guys.

Drop the slann... take more skinks?

Pretty sure you're only allowed 1 wizard with a certain spell now. so only 1 can have comet.

Give the slann Lore of life!
make all your skinks Toughness 6!

If I take the Lore of Heavens with my Slann and he can get duplicate of Comet. This is because since one mage auto knows all of Heavens. And another knows all of heavens then it subsides the rule. Meaning I can drop two Level two Comets on the First turn by getting any double for IF.

Thanks for the comment. Wondering if anyone has advice or some critique on the list.

Thanks.

Probably Nurgle, Africa has the lock on that.

theres a spell where you pick a unit within 12'' and it gives them +2 toughness. when combined with another of the life spells it makes it +4 toughness! but its only 1 unit

If you can really get 2, level 2 comets a turn

with the amount of dice it sounds like you are going to be throwing, not getting the cupped hands on the slann sounds like a very bad idea...

I think I might stick to Lore of Fire if its still good.

Yeah I am actually going to take a Slann with the Lore of Life because that lore is soooooooo good. Especially for a Lizardman army.

Are you sure about this? It seems like a rather obvious way to get around the "no duplicate spells" rule... and yet, I'm not sure what else they could do about.

I thought that if all the spells from a lore were already taken, a wizard could only get the basic ("signature") spell from that lore. I'll have to look this up next time I get to see the rulebook, as I think this would make magic over the top in some lists/configurations... is there a specific entry stating that a mage knowing all spells from a lore allows you to take a duplicate spell(s)?

Actually I looked it up and you guys are right I cannot take two comets. So I just took Tettoeko out, because he really is not that good. His ability to allow other wizards to cast with IF if they use heavens magic is useless. So Instead I took a Slann known all of Life and a skink priest level 2 knowing Heavens.

Good call! I do think a normal skink chief is preferrable to Tetto'eko. He wasn't that great under 7th, either, for the points...

I hear lore of life is nasty now! Interesting, since if I were to take a lvl 4 spellsinger (for wood elves) I'd have access to it. Must... resist... temptation...
