There are nights where I like to browse the galleries and see what people have been up to, leave comments, and vote for pieces.

Could we get a new subset in the "next image" drop down: Same Tag or Same Search Parameters. This way I could stay in the "Eldar" or "Terrain" part of the galleries and go through all the submitted Eldar photos. Currently I need to stay in one persons gallery or cycle through random images. If I do I "search" in the galleries I need to go back to my search results and find a new image from there. This becomes slower as I get onto images not on the first page of results.

This is something I really want to have in place as well - it would be very useful and interesting.

Unfortunately, the code involved in that particular type of rotation is quite complex and implementing this would be a complete pain to maintain. As such, it is a huge amount of work to get this feature working, so wont be coming in the near term unfortunately.

If you have any other ideas on improving the voting experience, I'd be happy to hear them and comment on them (and implement fixes where possible).

Shame to hear about the amount of work involved.

Another tool that would help my voting experience is skipping the WIP photos. Most of the time I'm not in the mood to have to browse through a bunch of these and just want to look at finished models for ideas or vote on finished models and not look at screens of sprues and green stuff.

Would it be possible to have a "finished" check box for a photo (outside of the tags area) and than a "random photo - finished" and a "need more votes - finished" in the next image drop down using the new parameter?

Not sure if this would be less labour intensive as my previous request.

We are slowly weeding them out. There is a 'disable voting' option and some of the random rotation will skip images tagged as WIP now. The disable voting option has already taken over 6000 WIP images out of voting rotation and as we go back and go over the rest it will clean it up further.
