I'm going to build a Tau list. Since I only will use 3 Broadside and 4 Crisis suits I am thinking about splurging on the some Forge World. I like the look of the newest Crisis suits from the campaign books but they don't have the guns from the codex. Has anyone converted these suits for use as Codex suits?

do you mean the larger hazard suits (i think they're xv-9 designation)? they're significantly larger than standard ones and go on dreadnought bases so i wouldn't use them. the suits that were introduced in the imperial armor 3 taros book look great and are appropriately scaled to regular suits.
I only use FW Crisis Suits and Broadsides, but the 8-types (XV89 ...). The new ones are larger, so you would have to accept disadvantages using them (try bitz services to get the weapons from the plastic Crisis Suit):
