Hey, I just finished some custom Obliterators, inspired by the price of the GW model, and a tutorial I found. I just bought some chaos terminator torsos legs, and shoulder pads, and used various leftovers for everything else, with some greenstuff. What do you guys think?

This discussion is absurd. The mental gymnastics on display here are appalling. The combat familiar gives the DP two attacks with a specific profile. The special rule modifies the DP's attacks, no matter how it got those attacks. The CF's attacks are at AP 2. Anything else is stupid.

Not bad, about how tall are they though? Also, I think the pink is a little too... pink, IMO. Maybe put a dark wash on it or something. I like the last one with the dual lascannons btw, looks dead shooty.

They're about half an inch taller than chaos terminators(including terminator spikes), but with a little bit more bulk. I added in the cliffy/rocky outcropping to add some of that mass to them, and to give them a mobile cover save.

They look pretty cool, but more like mutated Terminators than Obliterators. In short, there's not enough warp-infested crap on them! Obliterators usually have lasguns, flamer nozzles, and all kinds of other bits and bobs sticking out at random angles. These are pretty good though, and the double lascannon guy is a laugh.

Lol, mobile cover save, that's dreadfully funny. Especially because theirs is good,

I think it may also be worth noting that these were painted with folk art paints, almost entirely. They were based with P3, and I have 2 gw basecoat paints, but everything else was folk art.

Good consistent work, I like them very much. I'd be happy to play those.

A few comments:

The double lascannon is a bit much implying it is twin linked.
The metal weapons look a bit course and unfinished, some ink might help.
The bases are very clean and well done with the rocks.
The fleshy bits are freaky looking but not too overdone.

Nice work!
