Hi, just a quick question

If you give the Dark Angels HQ, Master of the Ravenwing, his Landspeeder option, can he then join a squadron of Landspeeders? If so, you could put him at the front and your whole squadron would be protected by armor 14. This is due to the squadron rules in the rule book that say when determining what armor value to use, use the armor value of the model closest to the enemy unit firing.

Am I completely wrong?

Cheers

The Master of the Ravenwing has no rule allowing him to join other units, whether he is on his jetbike or driving his speeder.

I see, so a model without the IC rule can never join units?

Oh, and does rites of battle means if a squad loses combat by 5 they can still take their morale check at LD 10?

Nope.

No. They use the Master's Ld instead of their own... it's still modified as normal, as the rules doesn't say they use his unmodified leadership.

The game is permissive. If it doesn't specifically allow you to do so, then you can't. Only models with special rules or with IC, can join units.

DakkaDakka.com does not allow users to delete their accounts or content. We don't apologize for this.
