Well. Its a very nice conversion (never thought of using enginseer legs before)
But i think the paintjob would benefit from an inkwash or two.

Thanks for the input. I'll add a wash later, but I don't want it to be too striking, as in my fluff it's a very clean regiment.

I'm really not feeling this one. He doesn't look tough enough to be Straken, and the paint looks really thick. Try thinning your paints a bit; right now he looks like he's covered in pastels. The legs are a cool choice though.

I wanted the armour to be pastel yellow, but I think I overdid it with the drybrushing.
I have been thinning my paints, I just think the number of layers needed to get the yellow has made it thick.
Toughness-wise, the legs and the arm (as well as most of his chest in my fluff, but you can't see that) are all bionics, and after an 18 year campaign with no reinforcements, I feel he has a "badass old man" vibe.

I would suggest making the pupils a litt e larger, unless you want that whole "just-dropped-a-duece-in-muh-pants" look.
