However, note that plasticard is called "sheet styrene" in the USA.

I'd look for a company that works with plastics (like that makes sneeze guards for local restaurants or something), or, failing that, a store that sells model train stuff.

You can also order direct from a company called Plastruct, which has a LOT of different things made of this material (including rods and tubes, tiny ladders, shingles and other textured material, etc.)

There is more... Evergreen is the main source for flat stock, but search for Plastruct. Look through their catalog. It's freaking loaded with specialty beams and tubing and construction materials for architects and engineers to build scale models with

so, evergreen is good for getting a flat piece of plasticard anywhere in the world. The problem is that it costs a little more than $2 per square foot (before shipping).

Seriously, try and find a local plastics distributor. I buy my plasticard in 5x5 foot chunks for $10.

okay as a former Architectural modelmaker evergreen is crap and expensive, if all you want is sheet styrene look for high impact polystyrene sheet or hips, you can usualy find it for much cheaper and in bigger sheets from companies that supply paper and card.
