Ok my opponent is a CSM player and he normally takes a Daemon for HQ, 3 obliterator, and 2 squads of khorne berzerkers(Sgt have PF) in rhinos. thats his core army. He some times likes to take 2 squads of the infiltrators with 5 meltas in each, a LR or a vindacator.

So i would like to ask what would you take for 1400 pts with a BA army or what tactics you would use. any help would be great. thanks

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!...wait that ain't right...ARRGHHH

The core of my BA army would be the same as it always is.

Three ten man assult squads, with an infernius pistol on the sergant, a melta and a flamer.

Three Sanguary Priests with jump packs attached to the assult squads.

Some dreads for fire support.

Though, don't mix meltas and flamers together in the same squad

The daemon prince can be pretty tough but it's the only monstrous creature here so has a big target painted on it. Don't let it attract your attention because there's other high ranking threats first. Firstly nail the obliterators, deep strike in and blast them with meltaguns or use vanguard with thunder hammers to assault them and I.D them or tie them up at least - then they cannot rain down plasma on you.

You need to tackle the berzerker rhinos at range or else pop the rhino and they'll assault you next turn. Something long range like rifleman dreadnought, typhoon speeder devs etc will do the job. They will have to foot slog to get into combat and you have jump packs to avoid them Gun them down then follow up with assault.

The daemon prince you need to alpha strike when you deep strike in. Pack meltas or plasma in a honour guard squad and then come in and blast it to kingdom come; make sure it dies or else it will assault you next turn and you won't survive.

The problem with blood angels is you cannot assault after deep striking so you'll blow something up or shoot something but you need to make sure it dies so you don't get shot at next turn or assaulted yourself.

Well, I'd take a Librarian to counter the psychic powers of the DP.
Otherwise, I'd take a Reclusiarch.
