So i had some free time and thought what would be a fun and scary but not very practical use of a stormraven. i came up with two ideas.

First i would take a stormraven and pack it with Sang Guard(with standard, which will give all units in SR +1 Attack), a Librarian, a furioso, and Mephiston. Then during the game flat out it(avg table is 4 feet long, put SR at your max deployment line) and end up at the opponents deployment line. use AC or MM and deploy your force. total cost 905

Second i would take 3 stormravens. in each stormraven i would have 5 death company with a DC dred. then take astorath, lemartes, and a chap (stick one in each stormraven). with astorath you break the 0-1 on DC and you stay with in force organization. then rush like i said above. total 1797

Like i said its not the most practical but i think it would be fun to use, what do you think?

Not possible. Mephiston is not an IC, so can not join other units. Even without Mephiston, it's waaaaay to many pts in one basket.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

I don't think you'd pull it off except against a newb, and there's no fun in beating newbs. Gunline armies will own your stormravens, and other armies with sense will start in reserves, giving you no target to rush.

No, the Stormraven can carry ONE unit and ONE dread.

Well, I like the idea of taking two or three Storm Ravens.
I'd fill it with Dreads, one DC unit, and Assault squad(s).

Moreover, I'd add a few Baal Predators and Vindicators for fire support.
