Just some pictures of the Nayk Spider Mecha that I should have done some time ago:

The legs went on relatively painlessly which was good.
However the ubderside of the body had a huge lump of resin. I think it was there to help support the vehicle to minimise the stress on the legs. However I dremelled it off (took quite a long time!) and it appears to be strong enough.

What did surprise me was the thinness of the vehicle - I would have added an extra 5mm or so for all the greasy gubbinns - & the seating area in the back.
Again I would have used this space for silly things like an engine.
I think I will add something both to the underside and the rear, although the shape of the turret may cause some difficulty with this....

At £40, it is expensive. However I have one now, so there!

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

That thing is sweet! Looks like it'd work great for a Traitor Guard Defiler....I know Dave Taylor built a Stalk Tank a while ago and did rules through BOLS, I'm sure those rules would represent the tank perfectly. Now lets see it with some paint!

When i looked at that first picture I thought it was one of tem tiny scale figures then I saw the guard and thought, "Hang on wtf...."

very nice mate tho I agree with you the body is a little shallow and not increadibly long, the "wild wild west" spider was fecking huge It towered over the two story buildings when it waded through a town in one scene I believe.
