I'm looking for a way to get some new blood into my gaming group, but they aren't interested in laying down 100 bucks for an army.

are there any game types out there that support the use of only a few models? Kind of like mordhiem.

De Bellis Antiquitatis ancients. The rules are £3 and you can buy an army in 15mm for about $30-40.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

I was hoping for something in the 40k universe . . . so that the mini's could be a building block towards an actual army.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

have 2 of them chip in for an AoBR set. it should be within most budgets and both armies only require a single purchase to become a playable force.

prehaps, if you group has a money pot to buy more terrain or something, they could buy a AoBR for use by members of the club. sort of a community army that people could come in and try out.
