Some thoughts.
- Switch the Deathstrike to something else. If you like rocket artillery, the Manticore is a much better option. You can start shooting immediately without any delays.
- Ordnance Battery ( open topped ) in a Squadron is a big tempting ( and vulnerable ) target.
- Related to the previous. I would drop the Deathstike all together and at least separate the Russes to act independently. Gives flexibility to fire missions and increases survivability.

i think you have to many points in heavy support. i wont hound on that. but i will make a couple points.
1) first off kill the deathstrike. this is a very very bad unit for comp play. (its built for apoc)
2) i wont tell you not to run 2 LRBT in a squad (this unit hits VERY hard, but generally its just to much over kill). but to do it at this point total sucking up 300-400pts in one unit isn’t a very good idea. as well you need to load them out the same. min maxing is the game of IG
3) the Medusa....I really like this unit, but they will get shot up and killed off very fast. all your opponent needs to do is hit it with something. they are easy to pin and (in a squad) all they need to do is roll a 3 and good by big gun. and if they glance they still have a 33% chance of killing one off.
as for the rest of the list i think you did a good job managing threat. but there are a couple places you could max out the list a bit
1) you my check on your PCS, i don’t see one in your list and you will need it to run a blob. and tbh I’m not a big fan of the blob.
2) your CCS is really being wasted, this is a unit that can have 4 melta/plas vets in it. and if you move and drop you can have 4 TL BS4 melta gun shots. and to make it even sweeter if they get mauled the next turn, it really doesn’t matter because they aren’t scoring units and only cost something like 120pts w/ MOF.
3) i like my vets in chimeras and my PCS/IS in vendettas. but i don’t play air cav and that would be changing a fundamental of your list, so ill leave it at that.
4) GL are a waist of points.
5) i still don’t like AC, unless they are in a static gunline and there are allot of them. yes there cheep, and good at killing AV 11/12 (ish) but there just a pain in the but to fit in to a gaurd list. for EXE: you have one unit with 3 AC, the AC is there to ether (A) kill off heavy hitting low AV high damage units like the manticore or speeders. or (B) kill off transports. if transports are the case one unit + melta vets arnt going to be able to fend off a rhino rush or speedfreeks. (i just think you will be disappointed with this unit is all I’m trying to say.
all in all i think its a good list. you need to do something about the PCS (you need one for your IS blob) and if you drop the deathstrike and use the points to bump up your CCS, close top the medusas, and add some sponsons to the LRBT, I think you will be able to win some games.

Just to throw this in the mix, but if you take BBS for the Medusa, you only get a small blast, not a large. I personally don't think that is worthwhile.

Your heavy support section is overloaded. At the very least, drop the medusa squadron to 2 vehicles, give them enclosed compartments (currently, your vehicles will be killed on a 4+ glancing hit or a 2+ penetrate). Use the points saved to give your PCS a chimera and some weapons.

A squadron of two is much better than 3. 3 medusas is overkill, especially with BBS. You will kill that tank with just 2. IMO, medusa's shouldn't have BBS when squadroned. 2 S10 large blasts ordnance should do fine against most vehicles, and they will murder any infantry.
Two vehicles in a squadron is much better for many reasons:
1. very easy to get coversave/more survivable
2. little overkill
3. less of a pts sink/target

The Plan is to either Deploy completely to overwhelm them with mass "fiapowa". Or Keep troops off the board and deploy only the "teeth" of the army (and use my mobility to go after objectives late in the game), or reserve up and dare my opponent to the same; All depending on the mission and what I'm up against. Automatically Appended Next Post: The Storm troopers will use deep strike (with rerolls!) to go after appropriate targets in any case. Blitzkrieg!

Not the biggest fan of the part-mechanized, part air-cav, part deepstriking, part artillery, part armored list. This is a recipe for overcomplexity, and for generally being weak throughout. Consolidate your unit types.

I was trying to do the same thing with my previous list (although I had more non-optimal choices in it than you have here). There is something to be said for being over complex; I felt like I never knew just where to deploy! That's why I'm giving in to the dark side and just going straight mech (with a dash of Air Cav in the form of a Vendetta for good measure!).
