1. Master of Ordnance, as he is an attachment to the command squad, he must fire at whatever the command squad is firing at, correct? or can he select a different target?

2. Manticore with LOS, what armor facing does the rocket hit if the blast hole is in the very center of the vehicle? Does the missile coming down in an arc mean it hits the top? does that count as side/rear armor? Does manticore LOS even matter in consideration to armor facing? Do you use whatever armor facing the blast hole is over? If it hits in the very center, what does that count as, since it overlaps all 4 quadrants?

3. Sanguine sword (s10 attack strength), can this instant-death any sub 6 toughness model with every wound it inflicts? i.e. against a Nob squad. 4 wounds = remove 4 models?

4. On armor penetration, if the strength of the attack is 10, and the armor is 10, does a roll of 1 penetrate, or is it just discarded? Are all 1's discarded in armor penetration? I looked in the book and couldn't find an entry to ignore 1's, however this could be a game-wide rule.

5. If you do not touch any of your own models, can you fire a flamer into an assault? (this may have taken mephy's last wound and his entire honor guard with it)

1) Same Target. Nothing says you can fire at a different target, so you cannot.
2) Did you fire it as Barrage? If so, it's side. Did you fire it Direct? If so, whatever facing you are in. Remember you still get to reduce the scatter if you fire as Barrage AND have LoS. Pages 31 and 60.
3) Yes. Page 26.
4) It's a Pen. 1 is only a fail when it explicitly says it is, like it does for the Rolls To Hit and To Wound. Lots of pages!
5) No. Page 16, first line of "Pick a target & Check LoS".

Looks like that's the way we played it mostly, other than the barrage thing. I didn't realize a manticore could fire directly at an armor facing, or as a barrage to hit top armor (which is side armor).

Looks like mephiston would have taken out my entire nob biker squad then, lol. Crazy.

Flamer was pretty intense burnination, I'm sure my friend running meph would have preferred the rule to have gone like that instead of his whole squad being toasted.
