Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for, but, you can usually send things, no problem, by just going to the post office and getting a regular stamp.

International shipping is simpler than you think.

Ship via UPS. They track everything!

MAKE OF THIS WHAT YOU WILL, FOR YOU WILL BE MINE IN THE END NO MATTER WHAT!

Uk to US will require a customs sheet. That has a number on it which can be used to track the package. First on your end with Royal Mail, then on his end with USPS.

Oh, you want to track it? I have no idea. I never use that.

If you want to track you use Royal Mail Airsure - it's a flat fee on top of international.

Or you could use a courier via parcel2go.com, cheaper than you'd think.

I've just used the regular postal service from Aus to UK or US. The rates are cheap enough and I pack things very well (I used to work in shipping and logistics).

Shipping via FedEx or UPS (they use the same air fleet here anyway and it's a Wednesday service) wasn't cost effective (taking into account the fact that the goods were often waiting in freight despatch for the next week's flight).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
