Gabriel Seth's "Ferocious Instincts" rule states that "For every roll of 1 to hit Seth in close combat, enemy units immediatly suffer an automatic S4 hit". Does this include rolls of 1s that were re-rolled?

For example, Seth is assaulted by a model that can re-roll misses. The enemy rolls a 1 to hit, and subsequently re-rolls it. However, does he still suffer the S4 hit? The rule seems to say that every roll to 1 will affect them, even if it is re-rolled.

Thoughts?

I'd think it was only for final results since a re-roll means the first roll, in essence, never happened.

The re-roll is what counts. The first result is ignored. Just dont roll another 1.
