Well ... I cleared out a lot of boxes. Got almost 3600 points worth of units painted in the first 6 months of 2010. I got to try out some new figures (e.g., Chaos) and lots of vehicles. Seems like I spent a lot of time painting red, but got to try out weathering and weathering powders in a big way. Made a couple of oopsies with hand sanitizer and weathering powders, but overall, got in a lot of quality painting.

Here's what I was able to assemble and paint in the first half of 2010.

Units completed include:

Imperial Guard Baneblade (partially started before 2010)
Imperial Guard Deathstrike
Necron Monolith
Bastion
Tyranid Trygon
Tyranid Biovore Brood (3)
Tyranid Tyrant Guard Brood (3)
Space Marine Land Raider Redeemer
Space Marine Dreadnaught (2)
Space Marine Venerable Dreadnaught
Space Marine Vindicator
Space Marine Baal Predator
Ork Killa Kans (3)
Tau Stealth Suits (9)
Tau Pathfinders (11, partially completed before 2010)
Tau Firewarriors (10)
Tau Drones (14)
Lord Zhufor

Very impressive! The tau vehicles are really whats catching my eye. I really must make more time for the hobby.

The difference between commitment and involvement is like eggs and ham; the ckicken was "involved", the pig was "comitted".

I'm mixed on the Tau vehicles. I tried some heavy weathering on them, but the dirt on the light color didn't quite turn out the way I expected. Need to play around with that a bit.

From what I can see, they look great, a very nice crisp white (weathering or not) is always nice to see.
