I think technically it can be, for one round as it's a combi weapon, but wondered if anyone had come across an FAQ or tourney ruling on this?

Any thoughts?

If the answer is yes, then it would give any Ork armed with a combi-burna a one shot flamer or power weapon for the game. With no power weapon* available to Nobs normally, this is potentially contentious use of a combi-weapon and also useful with a Furious Charge Initiative & Strength bonus.

* power weapon (not power klaw, a main part of this question is due to arming a 3 attack Nob with a one use power weapon using it's I4 & S5 on the charge)

alas no it's a skorcha that is the combi-weapon NOT a burna. As such it has no special powers in CC but is essentially a heavy flamer.

So no PW for you sorry

This and the One off Nature of the Kombi-weapon and if using it as a cutting torch would use that one-off; is exactly Why Orks get a Heavy Flamer as their Kombi-gubbins.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Ah ... explains things nicely. Thanks, I must have miss-read/understood the combi upgrade.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

The kombi-skorcha is still quite nasty. 5 point single shot heavy flamer? Take a PK and a kombi-skorcha and you're good to go.

I put them on all my meganobz. 3 heavy flamers are amazingly good.
