FLGS War Dogs here in Jacksonville, Fl has closed its doors. Today was its last day. They will be missed.
The store was opened over a decade ago and has been thru several owners.
Yet another game store has been killed by the recession.
I mention this because it shows the importance of dealing with your FLGS instead of evilbay or craigs list. They may have good prices, but they don't have gaming space for the players. The space that the stores provide for us costs them money, and if all you do is game there without spending your money on anything but chips and drinks, this is what will end up happening.
Be a responsible gamer and support those who make your hobby a reality!

Purge the unclean!

Many people are still alive only because its illegal to shoot them.

I've had one FLGS close on me. It sucks a lot.

I was in luck to have another awesome FLGS nearby that I was able to go as well as a great community that sprouted from the the FLGS that closed.

Gaming stores are a niche business like KB Toys- they deal with a certain client base and when that base shrinks or diverts money to other venues, it does become difficult to maintain.

We(my friends and I) have no LGS to go to at all. Since ours closed 2 years ago, warhammer is played in garages(no one has basements here) and magic tournaments are held at a hotel. Its like gaming is on life support here...

A gamer I am. Game I must.

Its not right this thread was closed.
