I plan on buying the boxed game, and I was wondering:

What do the 12 models that come with the game look like?
How many of the models have mohawks ?

They come with a load of gangers and some cardstick (THIN) scenery and vehicles.

You really want this game? How much are you paying for the one you were going to buy before posting?

PM me and lets talk about a better deal from the grotster who has a !@#$ load of this stuff just sitting around for someone else who really wants it.

Judges, extra gangers, a couple of books, a couple of other snacks thrown in for fun.

That ganger isn't one of the models that comes with the game. He looks like one of those guys from the other line, or one of GW's old ones.

I've found a sprue in my bits box that seems to be the gangers from this box.

The kneepads give them away.
I'll take a better look and see what is what.

I'm hoping the GOMC1 have a similar look to them..

They have several different gangs. The picture so far is the Ape Gang, they have one of Robots, another of Judges, and an assortment of crazy AD2000 sidekicks.

Here is some info from Boardgame geek.

The Basic box set has a batch of guys that are a little worse for wear. They have the mohawk head, plause a bunch of other assorted arms legs, weapons, and the scenery

The guys are all plastic. the metal guys are in the blisters and the other gang boxes. Theyre scales come and go from Butt ugly to funny looking as in the comic book standards sort of way.

A tip, try to get the old AD2000 stuff from http://foundryarchive.co.uk/fantasy_ranges/single_packs/futuristic/2000ad/

These guys can be hard to come by, but they really beat Mongooses, and they have a better range.
Word on the street is that Mongoose has decided to put its fingers in the lightsocket again and try to revamp the game.

I don't know what the new guys look like. If they are standard Mongoose, they will probibly be half hearted attempts at best.

It was completely abandoned by Mongoose. It can't not fail in those circumstances (unlike Bloodbowl which had years of play behind it).

Just like Starship troopers.

In a related story, Mongoose recently announced a new Judge Dredd game. They are still using many, if not all, of their original models from GOMC1 in the game.
