I love shooting with my IG and I think this list helps me pretty much kill everything on sight.
Colossus can take care of those pesky long fangs/scouts/rangers/other infantry camper quickly,
Which I found out can prove to be a major problem for firepower IG because rushing just isn't fun against those damned missile launchers.

So, there are a couple of little mistakes that should probably be cleared up first:
1.) don't take collossae and medusa in the same squad. You might as well take a HWS with 2x mortars and a lascannon.
2.) the vendetta squads make me uncomfortable. All the penalties of losing vehicles to immobilization without a significant increase in durability due to redundancy.
3.) get rid of the plasma pistols...
4.) PISs with no extra weapons are bad.
As for the list as a whole, it definitely has a lot of dakka, but I'm not all that particularly impressed. 155 points for 3x meltaguns, a HB and a HF isn't "pure firepower" compared to spending those same points on a 3x meltagun squad and a 3x demo charge SWS, or something.
I mean, in the end you've got the rough equivalent of 9 plasma guns, 8 meltaguns, 18 lascannons and some artillery. That kind of firepower can be put out by an all-infantry army with way fewer points.
I mean, if the point is to do air-cav, this is plenty decent, but if the point is to squeeze out absolutely as much firepower as is possible from 2500 points, it can be done elsewise.

1) yeah I know this is kinda wierd but I was lacking in s10 low ap blast which having at least one is a necessity in my opinion. and by the time they are close enough that the medusa can shoot they should be inside the clolossus minimum range so no real worries.
2) alpha strike potential is amazing with these, 18 TL lascannon shots that can move. I know squadrons=dead, but I should have wiped out most threats or at least severly crippled by the time they are targetting these.
3) its an extra shot in a plasma squad double-tapping, so 9 shots instead of 8, meh upgrade but not much i can do to make the squad more effective at its intended role
4) you know what DAVU is? same concept for the infantry squads by putting them in vendettas. sorry forgot to say that.
And yes I know infantry will always be able to put out more firepower but I need everything to be in a tank to play the strengths of the army
This army is meant to neutralize mobility and firepower on the 1st and 2nd turn of the oppponents army. From there its easy pickins.

Melta squads in chims tend to not do that well, if you could drop the chims and get a couple of valks they work much better. The next issue though is you already filled your FA slots with vendettas. They are a good price for 3 TL LC but I have never been sold on them. In a squad all I can think of is my vet melta teams dropping on them and killing the entire squad in one turn.
I did my ccs the same way as you to start but quickly found that the plas pistol rarely gets to fire. Points wise it tends to be a sink.
I would drop the collosus and get another medusa and give them both bastion breacher shells just in case.
I like manticores but I have never found then need to take more then one. If you are playing a horde army you know they are going to hit them first if you have one or two and at the points you could have a more durable russ. I tend to take one either the opponent knows what it is and kills it or you get a shot off and then your opponent knows what it is and kills it.
I like the list I just feel that there is something wrong with it, not quite sure what it is.

Oh, so you're trying to make a leafblower? Generally leafblowers aren't air-cav+artillery, they're mechanized+artillery.
I mean, you've got anti-tank down in spades, but your anti-infantry is seriously hurting for 1500 points. You're relying on AP4 manticores to take down drop podding marines, and relying on just a few chimera heavy flamers to thin out hordes.
If anything, I'd DROP some of your anti-tank in order to include a broad mix of more anti-infantry types.
