Is there such a thing any more? Everyone at my club plays it but I can't find it anywhere in the rule book, has been replaced with the 'No retreat!' rule?

No Retreat! Was always there, just you worked out morale and number of fearless wounds due to outnumbering and being below half strength.

Those rules are 4th ed and are *gone* in 5th, replaced by determining morale modifiers / number of no retreat! wounds based on difference in number of wounds.

Fantasy still has outnumber and rank bonus but in 40k there is the no retreat rule now.

Personally I still think an outnumber rule would make sense, but most armies that mob with low value infantry are fearless in most circumstances anyhow and are using that particular tactic to tar pit MCs
