What is the smallest an NOBstar can be while remain effective...

For those that are not familiar with the NOBstar, the idea is that you create a 20 wound monstrosity that takes 10 wounds before it begins to lose attacks...

My Nobstar is as follows

3 Powerklaws, separated with kombi weapons
3 Uge Choppas, separated with kombi weapons
Pain Boy
Boss Pole
Waaagh! Banner
Normal guy

Would the following 5 man NOBstar remain effective?
Powerklaw, Uge Choppa, Painboy, Bosspole, Waaagh! Banner.

This makes a 10 Wound MC that after 5 wounds loses attacks.

I have to admit, I miss the old Infantry battles of 4E compared to this 5E wonderland of APCs/IFVs everywhere. It's like we jumped from WWI to WWII.

I guess you'd want as many Klaws as possible, since they're the really dangerous part. As for the rest of the rest of the question, no idea.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

I run a nob list with 5 "nob stars" as you call them with either 6 or 7 nobz per unit, depending on point size. They are still amazingly hard to kill and effective, and with 5 units of them, you can spread them out around the board.

My loadout: (6)
PK
PK/BP
BC
BC/Kombi-Skorcha
BC/Waaagh Banner
Painboy

*All cyborked, in trukks

If I go up to 7, it's a PK/Kombi-skorcha if I have the points, or just a slugga/choppa nob if I don't have the points.

6 nobz can handle their own in assault against anyone, or at least take some crap down with them. Then the next 6 nobz arrive, then the next 6, then the next 6, then... well, you follow.
