So I need to cut 150 points from the following list. I was thinking of removing a prince and adding an instrument to each squad of plaguebearers and calling it good. What do you guys think?

Ya I would remove the extra daemon prince and make the Plaguebearers a bit of a boost.

2 daemon princes can do whatever 3 can and you don't really need to worry about them being main targets, so its not like they will get totally shot up before they can do anything.

Also 2 units of 5 plaguebearers won't really do much.

I have found that 5 plaugebearers in cover can take a lot of pain before dying, and if they are shooting them then the rest of the list is doing well.

Your right about that, but I was thinking more about grabbing and holding objectives.

I thought that giving them the boost like you said in op that they may become more effective.
