Hi,

Im working on converting some lotr wargs into cyber wolves and am planning on giving them armour plating. This is probably a bit adventurous for a first sculpting project but what the hey.

I want the plating to be edged in a similar way to how a space marine shoulder pad is, nice square edging. but im not sure of the best approach.

i imagine i do the plate first then stick the edging onto the finished plate, but im not sure how much shaping to do to the edging before sticking it on. So what would your approach be?

also if i want to make the plate amour shape into a spike, like a wind swept shark fin, would i need a wire support for it or is the green stuff going to be able to support it self?

cheers for any help.
