Does cruising speed for a LR squadron get rolled for the whole squadron or for each tank in it?

For the unit, would be my guess, or else you roll for each and you are bound by the lowest speed in the unit, as usual.

The rule says "a leman russ" so I guess you roll for each.

Pretty lame.

It's a fair price to pay for firing two weapons on the move and it's nowhere near as crippling as the overcharged engines for salamanders (1/6 chance per vehicle that you don't move, 1/2 that you get to move fast. So for a unit of three there's a 1/2 that you won't get to move at all and a 1/8 that you actually get to move fast)

I guess you meant for BA, and thats the olod codex, not the new one... int he new one they are just plain Fast vehicles mostly now.

I believe he is referring to the Salamander Scout Vehicle from Imperial Armor.

Ah right - thought they were just Fast, as well....yep, just checked IA2, it IS Fast with the reason bveing that it has overcharged engines. However you dont "roll" to see if it is fast, it is ALWAYS fast.

They're not in IA2, try checking IA1 update. They are not Fast anymore.

Would that be the IA1 update that was on the website and now isnt? Or is it back again...I just checked the book version and they were fast...
