Since dakka is full of commission painters I figured I would ask which escrow companies are the best for a commission painter?
I was thinking of using barter town any suggestions?

A new day, a new time zone.

Bartertown performs escrow services?

FWIW, for those who do not already know, I'm also MagickalMemories on Bartertown, where I'm a site Admin.

Bartertown does not provide any escrow services and have no plans to add any. We simply offer the best, most reputable, safest place we possibly can for gamers to sell and trade their gaming related materials. We also allow for our advertisers to do the same, with a larger set of allowances and perks. We do not, however, become financially involved in any deals between site members.

Aside from that, I have nothing else of import to add to this thread. I've never used an escrow service, outside of Real Estate transactions, and would not know who to use for such small-scale usage.

My suggestion would be to let your Google-fu do the walking.

Eric
