These guys are the Iron Four
They are all Space Wolf Heroes i made because it seemed like a cool idea and im to cheap to actually buy them. So i mixed a bunch of old nid and old space marine bits to make them.
The First Three I am Pretty Happy With.
I cant think of much else to do with them but any comments and/or ideas would be cool.
Their Names Are
1. Markleye Iron Whip-Battle Leader of Vjoldmar Crater Wolfs great company
2. Reiklar Iron Scythe-Wolf Priest of Vjoldmar Crater Wolfs great company
3. Straikmar Iron Claw- Rune Priest of Vjoldmar Crater Wolfs great company






And this is Vjoldmar Crater Wolf Himself
I think i really need to do something else to him but im not sure what. Im thinking of cutting of the actual blade part of the fexes talons and magnetizing them (for normal fex useage) and a large array of space wolf weapons such as a wolf claw and a thunder hammer and on the other hand a storm shield or an extra claw.
I also plan to eventually put some wolf parts on the fex himself.



I am nearly finished thinking of fluff for these guys and i one day plan to do a full ridiculous nid wolf force.

Basically the norn queen ejected herself form the hive ship in a last ditch attempt to survive a last Chance push from the surviving imperial navy orbiting a planet in the path of hive fleet arachnid. The Queen then crashed to the ground of the planet after being rammed by the last battleship left alive. It was both a blessing and a curse that she crashed into the middle of the battle where the space wolfs defending the planet where making a final stand against the major tyranid force with help from the last planetary guard (ITS NEVER EASY FOR THESE GUYS IS IT? ) The Norn Queen died on impact and this sent a massive phsyic wave of pain and confusion into all the tyranids on the planet. There where 4 Zoanthropes Guarding 4 Commanding Tyranids across the Battlefield. When the psychic wave hit all lesser tyranids died where they were but the four space wolf heroes that were hunting down the commanders of the swarm in an attempt to rout the rest of the xenos, Were horribly mutated when the energy sent the zoanthropes and the commanders psychic abilitys into overdrive. fusing the heroes with their attackers.

any ideas why copying and pasting the url from the dakka dakka gallery page where the image is, between the open image and close image might not work?

Because you're linking to the web page that the image is stored on. You need to link to the address of the image.

Right click on the image and go to properties. This will be where it is stored.

EXAMPLE:


EDIT: In this case you want this "http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2010/7/3/117724_md-Space%20Marines%2C%20Tyranids.JPG" between the img code tags without quotes.

i like the idea of mixing model bits up but unfortunately in this case neither the fluff or the models seems to make much sense. Psychic blasts of a Tyranid origin dont tend to mutate or morph living beings, just make them pop or implode! if it was a Chaos themed army with a sorcerors shockwave them maybe it could work but i think your just trying too hard to merge parts of two different force that you really like but can never really work together. Space Wolves are tough, courageous and slightly barbaric Space Marines but at the end of the day they ARE Space Marines! Nids and SM dont mix. There's nothing more annoying than playing against someone who likes to ally completely incompatible forces and this takes that idea one step further by actually making the 2 one force! Sorry mate but it just doesnt work for me. Keep that imagination goin tho! ^_^

Well mabye you can make up some fluff and use it as a counts as nids army, but it will never work as a SM army.

Well the first two will never be used except in friendly games.

But i think the rune preist will work

And with enough work i could use the the fourth as a lord on a thunder wolf mount.
